Hi! I'm Luqgreg, a member of Vanguard team. We're users who volunteer to help communities adopt to new technologies and features, like content portability. We've identified Iron Man Wiki as a high priority for introducing the Portable Infobox tool, which has a lot of benefits for your community. I'd like to work to update the Infobox templates so that they can be accessible on any current and future platform. Maintaining them if you want to make changes should be very simple. Also, there shouldn't be much difference in appearence between current and new ones.
We'd really like to get working on your community, but we would appreciate your go-ahead. Also, if you have any questions, or this is the wrong place for this kind of a discussion, please let me know. Thanks!
As mentioned above, your community is a high priority. Working with you on this project would be helpful. I've made drafts for all infoboxes. You can see comparison between nPIs and PIs here. If you have any suggestions or issues with them, let me know. Otherwise, please expect that Vanguard will approve these drafts after five days (31.05.18). Thank you for your consideration, and I hope we can produce a result that works for everyone.
Hi Luqgreg! Sorry it took awhile but I'm still checking the differences between infoboxes. Apparently there are some minor differences between the two. Just to clarify, in the link that you gave, the infoboxes on the right are the new ones while the ones on the left are the current ones right?
I'd like to discuss two things. First, the Mark 46 and Mark 47 pages claim that these armors have nanotechnology. I believe that they don't have any nanotech I'd like to know if I or someone else could change the pages to not include that they have nanotech, unless I could get an official source from Marvel stating that they have nanotech. Lastly, I'd like to know if there's an official source from Marvel stating whether or not the new Bleeding Edge in Infinity War is Mark 48 or Mark 50 because the page for the Infinity War Bleeding Edge is very inconsistent on whether or not it's Mark 48 or Mark 50. Sorry to bug you, but these two things have been bothering me and I'd like to see them resolved.
Hey, I need your opinion on something. On the Mark 40 page, a user had commented that the Mark 39 is the fastest armor Tony ever built, not the Mark 40. They said that the Mark 39 had to travel at a speed of at least Mach 22 to escape earth’s pull & travel into space, which is what it was built for. The Mark 40 page says it can fly in excess of Mach 5, but nothing else. I agree with them, & I think it’ll be okay if I say that the Mark 39 is the fastest suit, & that the Mark 40 is the fastest hyper velocity suit. What are your thoughts. Btw, sorry this is so long (pause, lol)
Sorry for the late reply. That's actually a good one. I never thought thought of that hahaha. Well then, I guess I agree as well. The Mark 39 may be the fastest suit but we'll never be sure if it really is the fastest in the MCU since we're just speculating based on real life facts. Nonetheless, that's a very good thought and it's most likely true.
I wanted to edit the Destroyed armors category page because it's really messed up. How do you insert and delete armors from the page? (PS, I know I already asked you, but you never gave me an actual response on how to do it)
Sorry for this super late reply. To insert a page into the category, you have to add the destroyed icon in the armor's respective page, and that will automatically add it to the Destroyed Armors Category Page. If you remove the icon, it will remove the armor from the page as well.
What are you trying to fix in the category page tho? It seems fine to me.
I've rewatched the scene where they get blown up in the clean sdlate protocol, & there are some armors in the Clean Slate Protocol category page that don't belong, & there's some that need to be added. Same thing with the Destroyed Armors Category Page. Thanks for telling me how to do it tho
Hey Ermac! Yeah I'm fine hahahaha. Just haven't been as active as I used to back in the old days. Sorry for this really late reply too. Been busy with other things, and I don't visit as often as I used to, but I still visit from time to time and edit when needed. Thanks for the concern tho! :)
Murali9395 and I have gotten into a little disagreement on whether or not the Mark 46 is made of Vibranium. He says none of Tony Stark's suits are made of vibranium. I say Marks 45 and 46 are made of vibranium. What's your opinion?
There's an edit war spewing on the Mark 45 page. There's nothing to claim that Stark's armors are made of vibranium. All official media and films have made no such claim - and the films and TV show indicate vibranium is a rare element that not even Tony Stark possesses.
User:Lemonface2121 is currently adding that it is vibranium - and does not bother to engage in civil conversation, just changing the page at their whim.
Sorry for this really late reply, but to be clear, I don't think Mark's 45 and 46 are made of Vibranium. Highly unlikely as they can get damaged as seen from the movies. They are probably composed of some other powerful alloy, but I'm pretty sure it's not Vibranium.
Since this post was nearly two months ago, I'm pretty sure this dispute is over. Nonetheless, I hope the information I gave will clear your understanding of the matter.
